WEDNESDAY TRIP TO BLUFFTON STREET FAIR

We decided to check out somthing new only a short drive away; we ended up having a really wonderful time. We didn't have the opportunity to do a lot due to monetary circumstances, but we have decided that there were so many things to do that we will return again on Saturday to participate in the $10 wristband day so that the kids will be able to enjoy what we couldn't that evening. We did find a lot of games throughout the fair that only cost $.25 to do that you could win stuffed animals, hermit crabs & tons of other prizes. The one that we loved the most was a mouse game where you put your quarters onto the table which incompased 3 numbers (1-99) once everyone has placed their quarters on the table they then spin the table and while it is spinning they let a very small mouse out of a box in the middle of the table and whatever number hole he jumps into is the winner and you get a prize (we didn't win on this table). We have never seen anything like this, it was so cool. We encountered a bowling game as well that it seemed like everyone was winning so we took a look and all you had to do is roll the bowling ball on a ramp. You push it over the hill and if you push it to hard then it will hit the buzzer at the end and/or it will roll back over the hump and you lose but if you can get just the right amount of speed to the ball and it goes over the hill and rests on the other side the you win and it was only$.25 to play so we got change for a dollar and Mitchell gave it a shot. His first try was not too great; it went to fast and came back over the hill but with 3 more tries he kept going. On his second try surprisingly enough he was a winner and he chose a monkey stuffed animal for Mackenzee and went at it again to win a monkey for Maddison again on the 3rd and 4th try. He was unsuccessful so we got change again for another $1 that was not any better (the game turned out to be harder than he ever thought it would be). So after dollar #3 without any more success we debated leaving, but Maddison wanted a monkey bad so we put in another $1 and then moved down to another ramp to see if he would have any better luck ~ without success. Dollar #5 was again a bust but the carnival worker was right behind him and gave him another quarter to try one more time, but yet again unsuccessful. Luckily at the end by where I was standing with Maddison there was a guy who seemed to know the people running the booth so they gave him free quarters, he won a small wolf and decided that it was in better hands if Maddison had it so he gave it to her and she was just so excited that she got an animal she didn't care that it was not a monkey like her sister. She immediately named it Noodle( how cute) we are still not sure why she chose that name. We then moved on to let the girls pick one ride that they can go on because we knew already that we would be coming back on Saturday to ride all of the others. It was so hard for them to make up their minds (there were so many to choose from) but Maddison finally decided on a motorcycle ride that went up and down and popped a wheelie so we got her set up on that and Mackenzee wanted to ride the gun ship ride next to it so we told her we would do it next when her sister was done. Maddison loved the ride so much that Mackenzee decided that she wanted to ride the same ride so when Maddison was done we put Mackenzee on it and she loved it as well. It was hard to pull them away (the promise of coming back helped a little) but it was time and off we went to enjoy our ride home.

Here is the crazy mouse guy
There he goes

Here are the girls trying to win me a hermit crab but Mitchell is pretty happy to not add another cage to our house/zoo

Mackenzee loves her special monkey
Maddison's gift dog Noodle (because Mitchell, after $5, couldn't get her one)

Maddison loving the motorcycle ride

Mackenzee also loving the motorcycle ride

Time to drive home and the girls laughed at anything that we said. They where totally exhausted and acting silly.
