FIRST NIGHT OF GIRL SCOUTS

I'm a Co-leader for Maddison's Daisy Girl Scout troop. Mackenzee got to go a long, just like Ricky did all those years when my mom was a leader, first for me, then for Laurel. Many of the girls that originally signed up for our troop didn't show the first night. Earlier in the day, the girl's cousin, Buddy, heard me talking about girl scouts and said " OHHHHHHHH, Aunt Sawa, can I go to giwl scouts too ?"

My brother came home the other day and, to my amazement, it was to be a surprise for all of us, and it was. I was next door at my Grandma's when she mentioned that Ricky was next door. No one had even TOLD me he was coming home. And my girls were sleeping so they didn't get to see him. We planned on surprising them the next day at the Zoo Halloween. It was so wonderful how excited they got. Mackenzee saw Ashley first and went running then Maddison saw Ricky and that was the end of it, all night long Maddison was stuck to him like glue. It was the sweetest thing ever. Well I'm so glad that we got to spend this time with them. We sure miss them both when we can't see them for a while.
