GRABILL DAYS 2008

We took Meganne and Mattea along with us to Grabill days on Saturday. The weather was perfect and every one had a wonderful time. We let the girls go on the rides first thing. They had a blast. When we got done there we saw that the sack races were going on and last year we watched them and had a good time so we sat there for a minute. All of the sudden we figured out that anybody could do this and they were calling for 3 to 4 years to come out .Of course Mackenzee jumped at the opportunity and before we knew it Mitchell and her were out there getting ready. In the mean time Mettea( who is one day younger that Mackenzee )wanted to do it but it was to late. Mackenzee did so great. She didn't place first, second,or third but everyone got ribbons so all way well. Next was the 5 to 6 year old group we decided to put Mattea in with Maddison so she did get to do it. They did very well also but didn't place either . Maddison fell right at the end so she was a little upset but got over it quickly. We stayed and watched all the age groups all the way up until the last one which was 19 to 109 : ) We all begged Mitchell to do it and he gave in. Maddison and Mackenzee wanted him to win so bad. To all of our amazement (even Mitchell) he won!!! Oh man the girls were so happy. For some reason I got the pictures out of order when it came to his race but you'll get the point. So now I'm happy to report I'm married to the reigning Grabill day sack race champion of 2008 : ) I'm so proud : ) all in all it was a wonderful day.THEY ALL LOVED THESE LITTLE RIDES

HOLIDAY WEEKEND TRIP #1

MACKENZEE HAD SO MUCH FUN FEEDING THE ANIMALS

MADDISON WARMED UP AFTER AWHILE

MY TWO LITTLE TURKEYS

We started this wonderful three day weekend off on Saturday by going to Black Pine Animal Park in Albion. We had a great time, but it was super hot out. The girls got to pet a whole collection of different animals at the feeding station. They had lamas, a camel, goats, donkeys, pigs, ostrich, emus, deer and a mini horse. We enjoyed seeing all of the exotic animals up close.

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH (NEXT TO DISNEY WORLD)

SHE IS SO IN MID AIR IN THIS ONE (THIS IS MADDISON)

THE SAME THING HERE , IT LOOKS SO COOL. (THIS IS MACKENZEE)

MADDISON COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF FLYING MID-AIR!

YOU CAN'T GET CUTER THAN THIS!

MADDISON SAID SHE WANTS TO BE IN THE ARMY TOO!

It's no wonder my girls cry, scream, fight, and just throw the biggest fits when I to to pick them up from their Grandma and Papa's house. Shoot, I would too if I got to do the things they got to do there. I used to feel like a bad mom because they never wanted to come home, but when we got there late Friday night the girls showed us what they learned to do with Papa. Even Mackenzee was doing it (shocking). Maddison would climb up on to the island in their kitchen and proceed to jump off in to Papa's arms. Crazy, right? Well, Kenzee did it too. That's what grandparents are for (fun times). Just for the record, they are so safe, they know not to do that unless Papa is there playing that game with them. Well, I got some of the best pictures ~ enjoy!

THE GIRLS GET TO SEE RICKY!

THIS IS THE FIRST LOOK THEY GOT OF THEIR UNCLE~LOOK HOW HAPPY THEY ARE!

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THEY HAVE SEEN ASHLEY IN A LONG TIME TOO

AREN'T THEY SO CUTE ?

Maddison and Mackenzee got to stay with their Grandma and Papa Friday night while we went to Indy. They had such a great time as you'll be able to see in the pictures. They couldn't wait to see their Uncle. I told them that we would be in really late so Uncle Ricky would wake them up when he got there. Yeah right, I didn't think they'd be sleeping! Mackenzee insisted pretending to be in bed so Uncle Ricky could wake her up. They were soooooooo happy to see him. We stayed there and visited till really late; we all had a wonderful time.

ROAD TRIP TO GET RICKY !

I ONLY MADE HIM POSE LIKE THIS A HUNDRED TIMES

I PROBABLY TOOK THIS SHOT A HUNDRED AND ONE TIMES : )

I PROMISE WE DRIVE MUCH SAFER WHEN WE HAVE OUR CHILDREN IN THE CAR : )

THIS IS THE ONE AND ONLY SHOT I GOT AS HE HOPPED IN

WE'RE SUCH DORKS !!!!

On Friday, Mitchell and I went to Indy to pick up Ricky Lee who came home for the holiday weekend. It was a boring trip there which you will be able to see by all the pictures I took of just me and Mitchell. When we got there it was so crazy busy. I barley got a picture of Ricky because we had to pull up and have him jump in. The way home was a lot better; we talked the whole way. I'm so glad we got to spend that time with him; he has grown up so much in the past months.
